We have added more items to our recycling scheme after it’s huge success since it’s launch in June 2024.

The Reduce Team of Tollesbury Climate Partnership started the village Recycling Scheme six months ago targeting items that Maldon District Council can’t recycle. It has been an enormous success.

On a cold winter afternoon, what better than to come home to some home-baked treats to have with a cup of tea or hot chocolate.

Another home-baked treat to have with a warming cuppa.

Come and join the Rubbish Event Rubbish Art Competition 11th January 2025 at the Congregational Church, 4-6pm.

If stored in the fridge, this compote would last until Christmas and would make a festive alternative to Christmas Pudding if you would like a lighter dessert.

All the ingredients for this cake can be found at Freds or Morrisons. You can either use pumpkin puree from a tin, or make your own from a pumpkin bought at the veg van.

The only solution to rubbish really is not make it!!! The TCP Reduce Team would love your help in reducing rubbish.
