TCP held 7 small scale juicing sessions between August and November so that excess windfall apples and pears that couldn’t be eaten were pressed into delicious juice before they rotted on the ground or in storage.

Chutney is a wonderful addition to a meal of cold meats, cheese or a curry or barbecue. Homemade chutney can be made to your taste – add extra spice or more/less sugar and experiment with ingredients, especially if you grow your own fruit and vegetables and have a glut.
