Recycle at your local recycle centre

Make use of our recycling centres

Lets make use of our local recyling centres, they are very organised, with multiple items separated to make for easy, effective recycling. Booking a slot is easy and makes your arrival less crowded.

Ideally, club a few neighbours together and take it in turns to go, taking the small every day items. Thereby, saving petrol, combining it with another household chore trip and save items from going in your black bin.

Ideally we aim to reduce rubbish, but recycling is a valuable resource; saving energy and raw materials in the production of new products; and reduction in landfill.

Local centres accept the following:

  • batteries
  • books
  • car batteries
  • cardboard
  • clothing and textiles
  • coffee pods (aluminium and plastic)
  • cooking oil
  • electricals
  • engine oil
  • garden waste
  • general rubbish
  • light bulbs and fluorescent tubes
  • mixed glass bottles and jars
  • paint
  • paper
  • printer cartridges
  • scrap metal
  • small electrical appliances
  • tyres (on or off rim)
  • vapes (e-cigarettes)
  • wood and timber
