Tree Maintenance Work Parties 2025

The session will involve weeding, cutting back, planting new trees, removing dead trees and other maintenance.

The session will be approximately 2 hours but you can stay as long as you are able to. Feel free to bring your friends along this is a great opportunity to meet new people, exercise and maintain Tollesbury’s trees. No previous experience required.

When

Saturday 2nd August 2pm – Cemetery
Saturday 6th September 2pm – Recreation Ground
Saturday 4th October 2pm – Cemetery
Saturday 1st November 2pm – Recreation Ground
Saturday 6th December 2pm – Cemetery

What you need

Wear tough or old clothing and footwear to cope with weather and habitat. Also bring a snack and a drink to keep your energy levels maintained.

Tools

Please bring any of the following if you can:
Secateurs, spade, fork, trowel, hoe, loppers, protective gloves, wheelbarrow
