“Juice Your Fruit with TCP” — A Success
TCP held 7 small scale juicing sessions between August and November so that excess windfall apples and pears that couldn’t be eaten were pressed into delicious juice before they rotted on the ground or in storage.
All sessions were busy and we usually had a few apples “up our sleeves” in case no-one turned up.

A family from Kelvedon so enjoyed the process that 4 of us went with our equipment to meet half a class of year 6’s and their parents in one of their back gardens.

All in all, a very sociable fun experiment which also brought £110 of donations into our cofferes to help us continue our projects.

Also a big thank you to Hannah, who supported the initiative and sent us this lovely message …
‘Was so lovely. We used my late grandads apples from his tree and it was a perfect way to remember him.. he would of loved seeing his great granddaughter making juice out of his apples’
